Safe Downloading Songs I love to listen?

Hi:
I love to listen to older and classic country songs, like 70's, 80's and even much more.
However, I have NO clue to download, much less which site/music for downloading songs I love to listen.

After downloading the songs I like, I want to make a CD that contains ONLY songs I love to listen.

For downloading, I am VERY willing to pay for any songs I want to download. However, I do not need to purchase a whole CD that has also songs I do not want to listen, .... only songs I love.

I would be truly appreciated it if any of you, on this board could direct me which site is VERY safe to download.
