Norton Antivirus

I tried loading Norton 360 Version 2 last Night.
I am having nothing but trouble.
I am totally frustrated and I am going to ask for my money back.
My question is this:
after uninstalling Norton how can I protect my computer until I load a new Virus protection program from the net.

They still sell Norton?! I've only seen it free after rebate for months.

It is horrible. I use AVG.

If you uninstall your current anti virus prog, there is no guarantee.

I too had Norton 360, for a day. Dumped it. Got my money back. If AVG is free and others don't have problems with it, go for it.

I personally use ESET Smart Security. It's doesn't bog down the computer like Norton and automatically downloads updates daily. You can find for info on it here: http://www.eset.com/

Norton Antivirus

If you have Comcast for broadband, you can get Macafee free. It is contunually getting updated, sometimes more than once a day.

If have not noticed any problems with bogging down even when I am working of photo restoration with less ram than I really should have.

I don't know about the differences between it and Norton, but it was a vast improvement when I switched and finally got all(?) of Norton out of my computer.
