HP G85 right margin cut off

Have a HP G85 printer. Have had it for years. Whenever I print the right margin is always cut off. Is there a new driver or way of setting it to fit on the page?

Could the page size on the screen be different to the page size of the paper? My HP defaulted to A4 European size rather than 8x11 letter size

Likely, it would help to have the screen format match the format of the printer.

margin cut off

I checked...it is set to letter NOT A4. How do you see if the page format matches the printer?. Also the link supplied refers to upper and lower margins not right side

The printer settings in the program should be something on the order of "US Letter". Check File, Printer Settings.

I'm not entirely clearn on what your problem is. Is the printer simply not printing an area on the right? Is the area on the right off the edge of the page? A photo of the printed page might help.

G85

when I print something from the internet the right side of the page is cut off ( some words or part of a picture may be missing) it is not all the time. If I print a text e-mail that I receive it is usually OK. I ordered something on-line and I printed the receipt and the right side of the page was cut off

G85

FYI I was just reading the manual..again. I am using XP and this printer was really built before XP came out although a driver for this is built into XP. I also have a new Epson RX 595 hooked up also which I mainly use for printing photos so if I really need something printed "well" I can just click on the Epson. I keep the HP because there is basically nothing wrong with it and I have the fax hooked up.

In the browser, click on file - page setup. Set the margins and shrink it if needed.
Click on print preview.
