USB 1.1 To USB 2.0

I have an older P3 computer with an ASUS P3B-F motherboard.I would like to upgrade my USB 1.1 to USB 2.0 using a PCI board. My power supply is 235W. Is this enough or do I require a high wattage?

Unless you're using a video card that requires a lot of power, it should work ok. USB doesn't use a lot of power.

USB 2 and power

Most USB devices don't require much power. You should be fine.

I upgraded my old system from 1.1 to 2 by putting in a USB2 card which I bought from NewEgg. It worked fine.
