"Twist-On" Cable Connectors ( male)

I purchased two "Twist-On" cable-connectors for a co-ax cable routed between the "service" connection and a "splitter" with two outputs, one to a computor, and the other to a TV.

As best I can tell , the internal diameter where the connector "threads" on to the braided sheild is too small for the cable.

An instruction on the package reads---- "Caution-- 'F' connectors fit only the RG59 size coaxial cable."

Any advice ?

It sounds like your trying to screw it on to RG6 cable.Best advise is to forget the screw on connections. If your on cable, then the local cable office will normally give you a ready made hook up piece of cable. If not they are available at stores.
