MS Money, wireless, XP

I have a laptop with MS Money 2002, with XP Pro...Desktop with MS Money 2004, with XP Home. The two computer are set up for wireless. I'm thinking of updating to MS Money 2008 (or what ever the latest edition).

1. Can I currently use either computer to talk to the other if the two MS Money edtions are from different years? or do I have to have the same version on both?

2. If I down load the latest version on one computer will I have to pay again to down load a second version for the other computer? or should I get a CD version and will I be able to put it on both computers?

Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark,

I don't see any problem in order to allow a "good talk" between both computers, however, you'll need to set up the laptop with administrator privileges in order to share all the info

Now... regarding Money is other story.
First, if your Money programs are OSM versions, I am not sure if MS accepts these versions for upgrade (at least they didn't in the past). Second--> check with MS, but usually is one license / one computer
