Favorites in Vista

Internet Explorer in Windows Vista suddenly won't let me save Favorites. When I click "Add to Favorites", I get the popup:

"Unable to create "fill in the blank.com": Unspecified error"

The permissions to your favorites folder have somehow become wrong. Have you recently tried to move your profile?

Bring up an explorer window (Windows+E) and in the address bar type in shell:favorites and hit enter.

It will bring up your favorites folder. Now, in the address bar, click on the folder just before favorites. This is usually your username, unless you've moved it.

Now, in the explorer window we can see the actual favorites folder. Right-click on it and select properties. Click security tab. Select your username. Make sure under permissions that it lists "full control" when you have selected your username.
