I just bought my wife a D800 and it does the same. I'll wait on answers with you. Hopefully someone will chime in.

sounds like a video driver issue. I would try updating the driver to see if that helps.

Most likely bad driver, go here.....

Drivers & Downloads

Go down to the bottom where it says "VIDEO", click it, then download the first one under that.

my brother works on computers for a living. he says its probably some kind of buffering thing. he lives kinda far away.

I had this issue. I can't remember what laptop it was on though, my Dell 1501 or my old trash Inspiron 6000. Give me some time....I'll think of it. Something to do with interference noise.

Uninstall the display adapter in device manager. Reboot the machine and let it reinstall the video card. It will probably ask you to reboot, say yes. See how it works after that.

What do you mean by "wave"? Too much or too abruptly?

You can adjust the amount that it scrolls in the Control Panel.

If you've ever used a pc without the video driver installed, you'd know what he meant by "wave".

If you start to scroll down a page it moves like the old flip card cartoons, one at a time. Extremely slow. I think I fixed mine by removing the adapter and rebooting. It works fine, now.
