Cat5e or cat6 cable for printer?

Hi,

I want to connect my new Canon Pixma multi-function printer to my router to use with multiple computers, so need to use a network cable rather than the included ISB cable. The manual just says use a "LAN cable", and I don't know the difference between cat5e ($12 at Walmart) and cat6 ($30 at Best Buy). I would obviously rather use the cheaper cable if it will be sufficient.

Thanks,
Beth

CAT5 cable will be fine.
This should take care of the 25 character error
