Hi,
when i right click on my C and D drive the first option instead of OPEN is AUTO. They say its a virus?
i jsut reformatted my pc two days ago and now it seems i am infected by a virus again.
i could no longer access Task Manager, when i do ctrl+alt+del, it says "task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator". i am the administrator.
when i type "regidet" in RUN, it says the same that its disabled. and every 10 minutes i guess, a window pops up w/c is Windows File Pro0tection. and it says that "Files that are reuiqred to run your windows properly have been replaced by unrecognized verions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore teh original version of tehse files. insert your Windows XP SP2 now.
the problem is, i dont have that CD right now.
aside from the CD, reformatting, is there anything elese that will solve this problem?
thanks..i really need help.

Have you tried loading a antivirus software on it yet?
Do you have another computer to download it too?
I would also download "HiJack This." It's a program that pulls alot of info off your pc so someone can see where the problem lies. It definetly sounds like a virus.
Disconnect your internet connection from that machine, and DO NOT save anything from that machine and try and load it on a good computer.
