Dell "Smartzone" problem

Have a new Dell inspiron 1525 laptop. When I am in Dell Smartzone, now and then I cannot go to anything outside of Smartzone, ie if I want to save a portion of email text to Word, I cannot open Word. Or email stripper, or anything outside of Smartzone. The cursor will move there but clicking has no effect.

When this problem occurs, if I do ctl-alt-del and simply hit
CANCEL (take no action - just open and close it) then I can open Word or whatever. Until the next time it freezes.

Can anyone help me cure this? Tnx. Dixieflash

Smartzone?

Smartzone Communications Center - That's the link to my email - don't know if it is Dell or Comcast software. I can't tell. Don't know enough about that stuff.

I'm away from home this week and not using Comcast Cable, rather using a LAN service, and not having the problem. So, I suspect the problem is being caused by Comcast Cable ISP.

Beats me. Dixieflash

OK, I understand now. Out of curiosity, when you are at web sites other than Smartzone, does your browser seize up like that? If it's just smartzone, then, as you mentioned, your likely having a problem with your ISP, or their website is crappy.
