Firefox, Thunderbird & Lightning
Related to my recent question (I had a computer meltdown yesterday), can any one tell me where I can find my Firefox, Thunderbird & Lightning data (addresses, email, favourites, etc.)?
I managed to copy all of the files off my old drives, including all the Documents/Settings folders. I'm pretty sure its in there somewhere but I didn't have time for a close look last night -- it took 5 hours to copy my drives!

The firefox data (by this I presume you mean history / passwords) isn't worth trying to find, it's too much hassle.
The bookmarks are in
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Should Only Be One Folder\bookmarkbackups\bookmarks2009-**-**.json
Copy this onto new PC, and go Bookmarks, Organise Bookmarks, Import And Backup, Restore, Choose File
Email
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Thunderbird\
Copy that
Please Note That Application Data Is hidden

I'm mainly concerned with the Thunderbird addresses and mail folders. I understand your Firefox/import bookmarks instructions but am a little stuck on how to copy/restore/import the old Thunderbird addresses and folders.
Under Thunderbird 'Tools', I have the option to import many formats but not a native Thunderbird file.
Any more hints you could supply would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

P.S. The new computer OS is Vista Home Premium -- I'm having some trouble finding 'Documents and Settings'
