Can't view PDF files

When I click on a link to open a PDF file, a new window opens - but there is nothing to view. I have Adobe 9 on my desktop. Do I need to configure it somehow?

Do you have 9 or 9.1? I ask because Adobe is real fussy about what version you have. If it's not the very latest, all you see is a blank page.
If it is 9.1, is it a really large file? If so, you have to wait until it's all loaded or all you see is blank, at least from my experiences.
Otherwise, maybe try reinstalling it again.

Thanks for your reply
It's 9.1. I haven't been able to view any size file. I've reinstalled it several times already.

Just a thought, check any firewalls and/or antivirus that may be blocking the download of documents.

Try saving the documents first, then see if you can open them. Right-click, then "save target as."

What web browser are you using?

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies.

I am familiar with the right click "save target as" method, and have tried it. When I right click on the window that opens up to view pdf files, there is absolutely nothing that appears.
