Boot Cycle

I have an old computer that has XP on it and 2 years agao it quit and would just go in a boot cycle over and over. What can I do to get it working again? And no I do not have the CD's it came with, but I do have the CD's for a new Vista computer will that work? Or what eles can I do. Check to see if I can fined someone that has an XP disk?

No, the Vista disks won't help.

How far into the boot-up does it go before recycling?

It will get to the Windows XP screen and then reboots.

F5 safe mode

can you hit F5 and boot to safe mode?

Kaspersky vs McAfee

Hello all. Looking for opinions. My Kaspersky runs out in a week. My internet provider (cable) offers free McAfee. Should I renew Kaspersky or just go with McAfee (free).
