Some one else logged in

The past couple of times I have gone to shut my computer off I get a message that someone else is logged in and may lose data. I do not recall this in the past. Is there a test or someway for me to know if in fact someone is remotely logged in to my computer?

Thanks

do you have more than one "user" on your computer? If so, if another person uses the computer and does not log off, you will get that message because they are still logged on even though you may be logged on and using the computer now.

You should be able to hit control, alt, delete and bring up your task manager. when you do you can look at what users are logged on.

but that wouldn't show up as a logged in user on the OP's computer would it?

It wouldn't show up on the OPs computer. It would however show up in the router. Depending on who made the router I can PM the OP and tell him how to get into his router and check his security logs.

In all honesty my post was half humor half guess. I'm a hard wire person.
