router help

need to buy a wireless router. I want to know if there is a is a good router with some type of counter. because i have satellite internet.

Counter for what? Just curious. Terminology may be different here.

with satellite i am allowed 12,000 mb downloads a month and 2300 mb up load and am looking for something to help me keep track of that.

My latest issue of Maximum PC gave high marks for the D-link DIR-615 (Rev. B2). $40 ain't bad either. I would pair this with Mikerios suggestion.

I'm guessing he wants to keep track of how many mb he downloads and uploads otherwise his ISP will charge him more.

My suggestion would be to get a Linksys WRT54GL and put DD-WRT on it. DD-WRT is just a simple linux distro for your router and has a nice WEB-GUI for beginners and a bandwidth monitoring program in the WEB-GUI. It dosent have to be a linksys wrt54gl you can also use any router that is in THIS list.
