AutoCad 2000 and Windows 7 64-bit
Windows 7 (Home Premium Version) 64-bit operating system will not allow me to install AutoCad 2000. Before it even starts to install, I get the error message "cannot start or run installer due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows".
If I upgrade the Windows 7 OS to Professional Version, I can download the Windows XP Emulator.
My limited past experience tells me that a software program has to be loaded first before you can tell it to run in an emulated mode.
Question: Will the XP Emulator now allow me to install Autocad 2000 and run in 32-bit mode?
Regards,
Bob

Right click on the exe file for your install and there should (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit) and am running a few programs that would not install normally and used that to get them to install. You must running as admin to do this.
