File / Printer Sharing not working over wireless network

I've got a desktop and a netbook. Internet connection is through a wireless router - the desktop is connected to the router through a cable.

I had printer and file sharing working fine, until I upgraded to a network printer (wireless). Now, my netbook can't get to files or the printer (really can't see anything on the network), but my desktop can read and write files fine on the netbook.

everything seems to be set up ok (and it worked before the printer was set up), but I can't seem to get it to work. Here's the message I get when I try to see the network on the netbook:

"(Network Name) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The network path was not found."

I just had this problem - Type IPCONFIG/all and check the Node Type. If it comes back as peer to peer change it to Hybrid.

Here is one method -

Windows XP: networking xp, dword value, open dos

After working fine for a while, now I can' see the network. Node type says 'unknown', even though I changed it as described in the earlier post.

Any ideas?

I got the Node Type to change to Hybrid, but it still doesn't work.
