I go to the site they say an update is avaliable but iam not sure how to do cause its a bin type file it says iI need to find a web source program to install. Iam now lost, time warner said I should update router for connection compatability. I downloaded the bin file but dont know how to get it to router. Normally you can update the firmware from inside the router. type 192.168.1.1 and login to the router. in there there should be a menu for updating the router.

Joe is correct but you need to download the bin file to your pc and then use the update in your router and point it to the saved file. The router will take care of the rest.
