Are you using the mouse wheel or buttons...or are you using the back button on the displayed page?

Sorry...I wasn't clear...
On my mouse...I can push the scroll wheel side to side to move fwd or back on the web. My wifes mouse has addl buttons on the sides to do the same thing.

So you are putting the cursor on the "back" button on your monitor..then using the left main mouse button?

I'll have to look if IE has it...but I would guess there may be a setting under "tools" that says how far to jump back or ahead.....

I use FF most of the time...

Oh...which version of IE?

Well...I looked...but I don't see anything...unfortunately I have IE8...so there could be differences.

Of course I also don't have the same system as you...but I'd look at your mouse settings and see what they may say.
