hooking up

Can someone explain in laymens terms, how and what is needed, to have what is now on my computer screen, to appear on my TV monitor?

My computer is a Dell 4600, and the TV is an RCA

I have verizon carrier

You need a video card with an output compatible with you TV. Does your TV have RCA jacks, S video, RGB, HDMI? Does it have only an antenna input?

Or look on eBay and search for "PC VGA to TV Converter" They make them, and they display just as nice as a monitor. It hooks up to the VGA out on the back of the computer, and the cable in, on the back of the tv.
