I sure hope somebody can help me! My son borrowed a game from a friend. When he puts it in, it comes up with "D is not accessible". I went to the bios and the IDL is enabled whatever that means. This is a used gateway computer and it is the first game he's tried. No games will work but it will play a music CD. What can I do? He is about to drive me to the nut house or am I already there? HELP!
THANKS!

Well it plays music cd's so the lens probably isn't dirty. I guess I would go to device manager, find the cdrom drive, remove it, reboot. Windows should reinstall it on boot and hopefully all will be well.
