A couple more critical issues on building PC

How do I know if power supply will fit my computer case? I purchased a MicroATX mid tower case.

I want to keep using Windows XP Pro on this new PC that I will build. People say I should just upgrade to Windows 7. But I'm not playing the Microsoft game anymore and paying for upgrades. Am I likely to run into any compatibility issues between XP Pro and the new hardware components? Someone said I might have a problem with DirectX.

The onboard video of new motherboard is ATI Radeon 3000

The only real gaming I will use is Microsoft combat flight simulators and Microprose Falcon 4.0 from 1998 to 2000 era. And any other multi-media software I use would have been included with XP.

not a problem

micro atx accepts standard atx power supply units
the only difference is that atx uses 24 pin power connection to the motherboard, mico uses 20, most PSU come with the adapter from 24 to 20, if not pick one up, they are not that much

as fro the radeon 3000, so as long as there is a xp driver for it, it should not be a problem

and since you mention it's onboard video, the supplied motherboard disk should included the drivers for it, xp and win7
