My computer got a virus, and now the diagnostic says my OS is corrupted, my question is I installed the microsoft office 2007, I dont have the disc since my cousin let me install it in my computer, is there a way to burn it or do something so after I do the recovery I can install it again or that is not possible?

Thank you.

Use Open Office instead. It works well and is free.

And you can always do it the legal way, by buying your own copy.

If it's a "basic" kind of document without a lot of special features unique to Word it should work just fine. I've been using Open Office for several years and it works great. Of course this doesn't doesn't fix the problem with the virus. Are using some kind of anti-virus program? If not you will probably suffer the same problem all over again. Also, do you have a firewall installed?

Open Office gives you the option of saving in Word doc formats. I've never had an issue with compatibility.

Can you ask your cousin for the disc/serial or as others said you can install Open Office for free. There is a slight learning curve if you are used to MS Office. Can't argue with the price though.
