Question

Does anyone know of any websites that sell cabling or cabling kits for a do it yourselfer that wants to install a few more cables for telephone and modem lines? I currently only have two phone jacks in my house and I am looking to add a few more locations for my son's computer and a phone for his bedroom.

I don't know of a web site, but just about any hardware store stocks the wire and outlets. Only thing else you need is a box to mount them in, and the boxes used for electrical switches and outlets work fine.

Shop your local Radio Shack store.

Or you can contact a network/telephone installer
that caters to the SO/HO market, for supplies and help.

JonPrut, If you install yourself you can pick up existing work outlet boxes at elecrical supply houses or larger home centers that allow boxes to be put anywhere you need them without need for finding a stud and nailing to it...Mike
