Win xp Re Install, Lost Code

I had to reinstall win xp, I do have the cd but I do not have the activation code any longer, I put the sticker on the computer case but about a year ago I replace the case and power supply and NOW I relize I didn't remove the stickers with the activation codes. Anyone know how I can get my win xp activated? I have 28 days left!
Also I need to figuer out how to install the correct Video Controller driver, my display works but not as good as it should and "Stand BY" mode is grayed out!

Thanks Paul A

There is a way to get the xp product code from the cd
just explore the cd then
open the folder I386
then open the file UNATTEND.TXT and
scroll down to the last line

Magic Jellybean

so how did you reinstall without the key?

there is a utility called magical jellybean

run that on windows as the key still might be one of the 2 HIVE files
or a back up HIVE file

Magical Jelly Bean only works for the code that was actually used to install Windows. Not to retrieve it from the CD. And my copy of Windows will install without you having to type the code in. And that's both my Windows XP, and Windows 7. You may have to call your computer manufacturer to see if they can help. Or you might have to buy a new code from Microsoft

Yeah I guess I will need to call Microsoft for a new code. Can't call the computer Manufacture its a made up system!
I would really like to be able to get the correct Video dispaly controller so I can have the "Stand By" mode back!
