monitor wont come on

my gateway vivitron 15 in monitor goes on power saving mode when i turn it on and locks up there..will not come on.

The problem exsists in the power management section/program of Windoze. There are a number of patches etc for this problem. After months of downloads, repairs, new monitors etc do you know what I found to work best? Do not run power save, screen saver (for power users like me) turn off the monitor when your done... I leave my dual KDS 17" monitors on for hours at a time. Todays monitors are not so touchy about leaving them on with a program left running. It takes hours and hours of use to "Burn" a screen today, if you can even burn one.
