I need to replace my internal floppy drive. One source says, "look for a drive with the same interface that your current system uses". Can anyone clarify? Thanks

floppy drives are pretty standard these days, all new drives are of the 1.44 meg capacity variety, likely around the $ 20 to $ 25 range , or at least that is the cost in canada. The A=drive conenctor of the ribbon cable is the one with the twisted pair, but if you only had one drive drive before (a drive) then it should be the same connector. I assume you just need a standard drive. Basicly just mount it and connect the ribbon and power cables and your finished.
