Blue screen of death

Is there a easy way to take care of this problem. Looking for a free solution

When is it displaying the BSOD?

Also what messages is the computer displaying? Microsoft has coded messages that if you wright them down and look for them you will find out what they mean. Usually a Google search with the words Microsoft message and what was displayed will help you out. It could be a number of things that has gone wrong and only doing that search will help you. Probably Microsoft has a website dedicated to error messages but I can't really say as I have never checked that out. Perhaps someone else will know. Most of the time if my problem is too bad I just wipe the drive and start over again. Good luck to you!

Probably the most helpful thing to document is the STOP code, it is displayed at the bottom of the BSOD and looks something like this. 0x00000001. Then either google it or post it here and we can look it up for you.
