How To Remove Color in PDF File

I use FoxIt Reader, FoxIt Editor and FoxIt Phantom yet I cannot find how to remove color in a PDF file.
I have a Plan-)-Gram from work I need to print. It's colored in a dark blue with number inside boxes. It prints the blue and it's so dark you can barely read the numbers.
I've tried printing in B&W but it turns the blue into black.
I've tried printing in gray scale but it makes it black also.
Any ideas on how I can remove the color?
Thanks!!

No not really and I think others here will say the same. The only thing I can think of is to treat this like a photograph but then you would have to somehow convert this to a photo file. About the only thing I can think of is to print this and then scan it like a photo and then edit it like a photo. A really good photo editor can make all kinds of changes including freehand coloring. It will not be easy though and probably take a long time to do. It still might turn out bad too as some of the photo editors don't do a really great job. I wish you luck!

Have you tried taking a screen shot then using a free program like IrfanView to swap the colors. Just a guess. Never had your problem but I do sometimes use the screen shot technique to capture portions of a PDF.

Yes, I tried saving it as a picture then editing it- would take forever!
I already tried IrfanView also. It just made the blue into black.
I was sure I had removed color before in a PDF but just forgot how.
Oh, why didn't I write those steps down? LOL
Thanks for your help.

I meant the Swap Colors choices on the Image menu not convert to black and white or is that what you tried.

Thumbs up

Okay. I think I have it! I did not swap colors before.
So I swapped colors (it turned the dark blue background color into a light green) then I decreased the color depth and chose Black & White. It then turned the light green background color into white so I was able to read the numbers in the boxes
Hugs and kisses to you! Thank you

Don't thank me. Thank Irfan Skiljan. He created one heck of a good program.
