Firefox vs. Google Chrome

I have been using Firefox for a few years and like it a whole lot better than IE. However lately I seem to have trouble with FF and was thinking about switching to Google Chrome.
What is everyone's opinion of this? Pros and cons.
Thanks

I like Chrome a lot better than Firefox. Can't really put my finger on why... seems faster, I like the Adblock add on.

If you think you would like Google Chrome then I suggest you use Comodo Dragon web browser instead. It is made in the same fashion as Google Chrome and has some of the same code in it but is built with extra security features. I have used it on an off and it is much faster than either Firefox or Internet Explorer. The con customization you can customize it but you might not like it as much as either Firefox or Internet Explorer as it is not quite as easy to customize as either browser. It will also look a great deal different than either browser but if neither thing bothers you then I say try Comodo Dragon it is free and much safer to use here is a link to the download page Dragon Internet Browser ? Comodo Dragon Web Browser. I have the free internet security suite on my old laptop and I am very happy with it as it has saved me from attacking websites and this browser has some of those same features as their suite.

Chrome is excellent. I switch between several to test my little web sites. Chrome and FF are the two I use most often. IE is fast becoming a dinosaur.

I use IE at work because some of our applications don't work anywhere else.

My dislike of Chrome is based on my dinosaur mentality - I don't like tabbed browsing and you can't turn it off in Chrome like you can in IE.

Personally I'll try Chrome when Google and its affiliates stop calling my business every day to telemarket services I don't need or want; until then it's FF.

I've seen the same thing. Certain webinars I have to take for business, for example, work only on IE.

I keep IE on my laptop only because I have to access my computer at work and it will only work with IE.

I switched to chrome but found it did not do some things that IE could do. Such as saving certain files/programes. Only let you run them..etc.

I have been using Firefox now since I read this post and find it 100% better then chrome. I installed it on all computers yesterday and deleted chrome.

You cannot delete IE. It must stay on the computers because it is tied into the operating system. I set all security setting to max in IE then just delete the shortcut. If I ever need IE, I just find the icon in the programs folder.

I have all 3 , Chrome, FF and IE. And I use all 3. FF mostly since I'm used to how it operates and I know how to set things up the way I like. IE because there are still some places I use that won't display properly in FF. Chrome for the same reason as IE...I dunno why but several sites I've been going to for years won't display properly in EITHER FF or IE...which seems very odd. I don't really like the way Chrome looks...but not sure if I can customize what I don't like or not.

Wife uses Chrome exclusively. Of course she has about a million tabs open at once.

I have Chrome and FF. (No IE for me!) I use Chrome mostly, and especially enjoy sync and Adblock Plus.

There doesn't have to be a choice. You can use both and more.
I use IE, FF, Chrome and Safari. Some websites seem to prefer one over another or one works better over the other at times.

I have both FF and GC open right now, and I'm posting in..... FF (had to look to see which). I switch back and forth between those depending on which is being more responsive. Don't care much for IE.

My DW, OTOH, will often have FF, GC and IE all open at once, plus some others, particularly if she is updating something and wants to check how the code is being interpreted by the different apps.

Chrome. Firefox has been freezing on me a lot over the last few months when I'm trying to watch Netflix.
