Cool

I have a HP Deskjet 610cl printer, has anyone used the refill kits advertised on tv, and do they work?

I am not sure which ones you are referring to, but while traveling on business in Mexico last year, my portable HP printer ran out of ink. I could not find cartridges, but did buy a refill kit. It worked fine. Don't overfill, and be sure to wipe off excess ink after filling.

There are also several companies that sell refilled ink cartridges on the internet, at pretty significant discounts. I have used some of them with no problems.

Inkjet cartridge refills

Although most printer manufacturers post dire warnings of printer damage if you use the refill technique, I've been refilling my cartridges for years. The most I have been able to get out of a cartridge is 3 refills and then the print head gives out. Go for it, you'll save a ton of money if you use your printer a lot.

mijme, I have an HP 610cl and the refill kits work very well. Buy one refill kit so you have the drill bit and other parts. Office depot has one (black) for 9.99 that works in the HP. After that I get my ink at these links by the pint. It works out to about 2.00-4.00 per refill depending on the quantity...Mike
