Can't move back to Desk Top
#1
While trying to eliminate some of the applications that load on start-up (and chew up resources in the background), and get them removed from my task bar, I somehow removed the icon that would take me back to the Desk Top, regardless of what window I had open.
Can someone tell me how to get it back?
Thanks,
Rick

Tell me what operating system you are using , I will look at my system at home and try and get it this to you, but I do need to know your opearting system, I have windows 98 on one computer and windows me on another , so hopefully you are using one of them. The stuff in the systems box can take up resourses, but your shortcut icons does not take any resourses that you need to be concerned about, anything set to automaticly start with windows can take resources.

If you can locate it there great, I didn't have time to look for as I have 3 kids , 2 computers & homework, so it was far faster to copy the shortcut icon and email it , at least until I found out that I could not get the email from your profile on DIY.

Thanks Plumber2000 and dkerr. I have found the icon in C:\WINDOWS\system however, it will not let me drag it to the Task Bar.
