Printing 'Red' in color on Canon Printer

Hi:
I just replaced the printer from HP to Canon, becase HP printer used to be very functional, however recently there has been an issue not able to print web-pages, although I love vivid color HP offerring.

The brand new Canon has everything I expected, however down-side part is when printing 'red,' which is more like 'orange-tinged red.' Simply, it's NOT 'red' in color. It's between orange and red in color.

Since it's a brand new printer with a set of sample/trial inks, then I should purchase a set of inks for Canon Printer to get a vivid and accurate color?

Any suggestions and ideas would be truly appreciated.

Thanks,

Those trial inks should be genuine Canon inks and you should get a perfect picture with them.....just not very many.

Did you perform a color alignment when you put in the Canon starter inks ?
It should be a function accessible from the menu on the printer.
