Weather Map Display Problem

I use Firefox 4.0 as my web browser. When I go to Weather.com, the interactive local map will not work. What could be wrong?

FF 4.0? Wow...what operating system are you using? I use FF 18 with XP on mine.

Firefox Version No.

When i go to Firefox>Help>About it says 4.0 and that it is up to date. I am using Windows XP OS.

FF 4.0? Wow...what operating system are you using? I use FF 18 with XP on mine.
After reading your reply, I downloaded Firefox 18.0 . If I install this, will I lose my e-mail info?

Well...I have ta say....even if it says up to date...it's not. FF 4.0 is outdated and no longer supported. It's probably so old that it doesn't know it's outdated.

You should go to their home page Mozilla Firefox Web Browser and get the latest version. Be advised, it will default to something different looking than what you are used to, but it can be changed back in most cases. I was frustrated after a couple of their updates, but the functionality is much better once you get used to it.

Fire Fox Should self update as to you losing your mail no worries there especially if it is web mail. Mozilla does have a dedicated mail program called Thunderbird which will download your mail however the few times I have used it and had updates I never had any lost e-mail. I rarely use it even though it is a good program as I only use it to send pictures to friends in e-mail. I agree though you should take the old Fire Fox off and then download the new version just to make sure everything works good in the new install.

I had issues recently with videos not working. There is/was some kind of issue between Firefox and the latest Adobe Flash player. After hours of screwing around trying all the suggested fixes I threw my hands up and went back to IE.

Crispy...there was an issue with Flash in earlier versions IIRC. Might want to try FF again or even Chrome...either one is normally better than IE.

CripyB, like Vic says, it may be a matter of updating FF, as Ken did with good results. IMO, two tin cans and a string are better than IE.

I agree Larry two tin cans and a string are better than IE any day and Firefox or chrome are more stable.

Been a couple months so I updated FF and everything seems ok now. Not sure where the original problem was. Either FF adapted to the new Adobe Flash or Adobe fixed it on their side.
