Puzzled by message on new computer
#1
My daughter has a five day old computer running Windows ME that for the first time yesterday displayed the following message:
GETCPUSPEED - INITTIMER MUST BE INITIALIZED TO MEASURE CPU PERFORMANCE WIN\CPUSPEED.C
What does this mean and what should she do?

This link will take you a site where you can download a porgram called STARTUP COP, (even though it doesn't list list windows me, I've tried it on windows me and it worked for listing anyway. This porgram when run will list programs that automaticlyrun at startup. Can you post what is on this list. Seconds look in START/PROGRAMS/STARTUP/
and tell me what is listed there.
This might be a different problem but would like to see first what is running at startup.
Please repost with new info...
