Does anyone have the filename that will put the Control Panel on the Start Menu? I think the filename is all numbers. I had this but was one of the few files I didn't have backed up when I crashed. When I get it do I create a new folder on the desktop and give it the name....Thanks....Mike

control panel shortcut

To make a 'control panel' shortcut in start menu, create a new folder in your 'start' folder and name it
" Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} "

I like to have a shortcut to control panel on my desktop. Saves time in a lot of cases. Just go to My Computer on desktop and right click control panel. Choose create shortcut. Put it on the desktop. My .02...Loomisman
