isi It just me?

MY New computer doesn't function like old my computer that had windows XP.

I bought this thing because i had to "upgrade"to stay on the net.
Now i feel like i'm in grade school again, and am having a difficult time finding way around.

I miss one click for mail,my pictures,,,picture folders, disc cleanup delete junk mail, etc, and private browsing, one folder for addresses,etc....just for starts.

O.K.,now i got that said, any words of wisdom for a'old hack'?
Thanks for any suggestions.

By the way..some of my literate and younger friends are having issues to.

No you didn't. That is just what MS wanted you to think. There are tweaks and third party fixes for that you can install that will make it work more like XP. Here are some tweaks a quick search brought up: Top 5 tweaks to make Windows 8.1 feel more familiar and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4reD4q0a5S0

Note do not use Windows so don't know how helpful the links are.

JerseyMatt,

Many thanks for your reply. I'll checkout your suggestions this weekend.

Nice to know there are "ways' around this.
