Dish internet

has anyone used Dish internet via satellite??? did you have to get a different dish??
how was the service overall??

No, but the info is available on their site.

You would need a second dish - just for the internet. Cost is high and gets higher if you want more speed etc.

I agree it is very expensive versus other alternatives. I don't have satellite internet but I did check into it for a friend and suggested that he tries to look into other alternatives. It really doesn't matter that much who the provider is either the cost is about the same.

Several yrs ago when I had dial up I checked into satellite internet and the cost was prohibitive There was a significant up front cost for equipment plus a the monthly fee that wasn't cheap. Fortunately they finally run fiber optic lines out my way

I had Blue Sky for awhile for 80 a month. Now I have Verizn for 50 a month but only 5G.
I was just wondering if it had gotten better but it doesnt seem so. I thought maybe they had figured out how to do it with our regular small dishes....I guess not. Screw it.
