Quick Launch Taskbar

I was reading this article
How to enable Quick Launch in Windows 8.1 | Winaero

and all went fine but my Quick Launch does not go all the way to the left but stays about 2 away from the left.

On the article I read it is shown all the way to the left, just next to the start button.

Anyone knows what I do wrong?

Have you tried pulling it to length you want?

Have you unlocked the taskbar to see if something else has that space?

Tried everything you said but nothing worked.

Finally its done and the problem was my touchpad! When I was dragging it was NOT dragging and eventually after a few trays it worked and is so much better the quick launch vs what windows had before.

It looks to me that everything windows 8 & 8.1 did was in contrary to what most people want in their OS

The new style touchpads almost in every new laptop are useless!

Kolias, it's not that all those manufacturers and engineers made a mistake of any sort, oh no!, that couldn't be. You just haven't completely let your laptop train YOU yet. lol

You are right Gunguy LOL, I think they did it on purpose to make it as more difficult as possible including Office.

The UI in Windows 8 is a lot different but I have gotten used to it and now prefer it to the 7/Vista/XP type interface. Give it some time and an open mind.
