Question

Hi,
I tried installing a EZ Cam II USB to my computer. Somehow it messed with my USB port and I had to disable the USBs to continue running my computer. How do I check to see if there is a problem with the USB configuration. I tried Windows help and it said everything was fine, but the computer will only come on in SAFE mode when the USB ports are enabled.
Do you have any ideas, PLEASE?
Help,
Andrea

Andrea,

It wouldn't hurt to make sure there are no pins bent over at the USB port(S).

You can also try deleting the usb ports under system manager and letting windows (asumption here) re-install them. Also get the chipset of your MB and check for updated drivers for the usb. Once this is done and you are able to load up correctly with usb enabled you should be able to connect your cam and be on your merry way.
