Can't log on as different user

I'm unable to log on my girlfriend's PC. She has the settings so as to remember all her passwords, ID, etc. Each time I access FB or Twitter and try to sign in, it automatically signs her in. The "switch user" tab doesn't display a box for me to sign in as well. Is there a way to wipe the PC's memory of all the passwords, etc., w/out losing files...?
Thanx....Charlie.

You need to set up a separate user for yourself and log in as that user. Or use a different browser that does not have saved passwords.

The computer won't honor the "Switch User" button, but I'll try a different browser.
Thank you.

For user accounts your girlfriend would need to log into her administrator account and then change her permission settings for your use. Browsers can be reset so that no online accounts will have their passwords remembered. I personally don't allow my browsers to remember my passwords as I believe it is a bad idea however other people think otherwise so I will not include instructions here as to how to reset. Doing a Google or other search for the specific browser will give you information on how to reset each browser as each is different.

FB & Twitter accounts don't have anything to do with the local accounts, on her PC nor does the browser. Something tells me that you don't have an account, on her PC. You can verify that by going to user accounts in the control panel.

Thanx for all the info, folks.

Do you have administrative privileges?

If you have an account, why doesn't it show when you either click switch user or when you reboot? What version of Windows is it?

I recommend the same. You should have your GF setup a new userID for you.
