VLC crashes

Good day. I have use VLC as my default player because of its friendly user environment. I have download the latest update which is VLC version 2.2.1. Playing a single music or movie will play but unfortunately when playing multiple mp3 file or movies the player will crash. Any idea to fix this.

Note: I have tried to do a clean reinstall with the program but still the error remains.

Here is the error that occur.

Did it start to crash after you downloaded the update or before? If after, try to roll back to the previous version. If before, type %appdata\vlc in the run box & delete the contents. That's one of the solutions offered by MS. Another solution is to uninstall plugins.

If none of that works, I would see if it crashes in safe mode. There are also some youtube videos on it. Apparently, it's a common problem.

I'll try the %appdata solution later and get back to you if this can solve the problem. I don't have any plugins installed so that solution is disregarded. Thanks sir for the solutions.
