Ctrl V not working in new pc with Win 10

New all in one Lenovo. Love it.
Ctl V not working.
It is enabled in control panel.
Any thoughts?
I read to remove the keyboard from device manager and let it find it again.
Thanks.

Excellent observation!
The left one to the space bar only does V when used to used to paste.
The RIGHT one pastes perfectly on Ctrl V.
hmmmmmmm

Call them while it's still under warranty. Did you buy the onsite insurance?

Figured it out, all fixed, here goes:
Open Word, word start button
Options
Customize
Bottom of column, Keyboard shortcuts, customize

Press new shortcut key, hit the combo you want
Up in categories, select all commands at bottom of list
Then in the right commands box, hit whatever you want assigned to that key combo
assign,
Close
Badabing.

So it wasn't a keyboard problem. Glad you got it. Thanks for letting us know. You might have got better help if you had said it was specific to Word.

But it's not specific to word..
Idk how all this works but if you set it up in Word then it works in any other application on the pc.

That was going to be my question too. Is the change global or just for Word?

Ctrl+V isn't just a Word function or even a Windows only command. It should work in most OSes except Mac when using a GUI and American English.

Doesn't really matter now. The unit died! 9 days after getting it.
I returned it and got a Dell All in one.
Never buy a Lenovo. I was sick after putting in all the setup for 9 days.

Wow, I have good luck with Lenovos although I wouldn't buy an all in one. Have you tested ^V on the Dell?

Yup, works fine.
I was really disappointed that it turned out like that.
I'm about to make a post relevant to all in ones.
Windows vs. Imac
