Windows 10 requires password even though It's turned off

So I made the mistake of signing into my microsoft account on my windows 10 pc today and even after reversed it and tried to change it back, it continues to require a sign in. I'm signing in using a local account again, and set it to "never" require sign in, it continues to require sign in. I also went to netplwiz and unchecked that box that requires sign in.

This user account is an admin also. The other admin users do not have this problem.

What else can I try short of deleting the user profile and creating new one?

it continues to require a sign in.
Do you mean that the local account still requires a password? That should have nothing to do with you MS account. There is a boot disk that will clear it if it really bothers you but it's better to leave it. If someone should get on your network, they won't be able to view your files without that password. Google NT password reset. Download the program & burn the ISO. Boot the machine & clear the password.
