Annoying thing in GOOGLE sheets

Lately an annoying thing has been happening whenever I load a Google sheets page. It has a tendency to load up on half a screen. The whole spreadsheet loads but only on half the screen. It will flash on the screen at full then as it loads is shrinks to half the screen (half horizontally). If I repeatedly load the spreadsheet it will eventually come to full screen. Or I might try a different browser.

Anybody hazard a guess as what might be going on?

Yes it does. These spreadsheets are being used from various locations and Google is what is being used.

How to Open Google Sheets in Excel

A quick google search showed that it's possible to use excel. That's just one of many hits. Are you against using something other than the browser?

No, I'm not. In fact I would prefer Excel. But others are and at work we can't use it or don't have Excel. However, I just noticed a recent update from MS AND a Spectrum signal boost that may or not effect this anomaly. We'll wait and see.

I would definitely try Chrome. While it should work on any browser, there are always ongoing updates/fixes/bugs that cause no end to possible issues.

It sounds like it's a "simple" problem with it determining the window size, but of course, likely nothing you can fix. I'd vote for another browser, at least temporarily.

I use both Chrome and Firefox and sometimes MS Edge. It has happened only once since my last post.
