Win10 File Explorer Annoying Entry
In Windows10 File Explorer when I insert a USB I get 2 entries under the directories section at the left
One is the last directory below C:\Kingston (D
The other is below the above and repeats Kingston (D
Both show the exact contents of the USB
Anyway to avoid this double entry?

Shadeladie go to this link and further down there is a fix in the registry to eliminate the problem of double USB entries in the File Explorer

I did it and it worked for me. In case you cant get to that link here is the fix:
For 64 Bit you must do both steps. Just rename the final string with .old at the end. In case it's needed in the future. Or you can delete it but I don't recommend that.
32/64bit Step 1:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\DelegateFolders
64bit Only Step 2:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\DelegateFolders
{F5FB2C77-0E2F-4A16-A381-3E560C68BC83}
Then rename this string adding .old at the end.
