Subscribed threads since DIY web site changes

I set "no email notification" to the automatic subscription setting in the control panel. I get a blank page when I click "save changes" & my posts don't automatically appear in my subscription list.

Okay, thanks
BTW, this thread made it to my subscription folder. Only my responses to other posts don't make it.

Was the elimination of the "quick link" to Who's online intentional ?

No, nothing is intentional. Some things will need some fine tuning. The mods are making notes and notifying the techs.

Refreshing the subscription page results in a blank page. Also the thread options are missing too so if I want to subscribe or unsubscribe, I can't do it.

Individual thread options are at the top of every page. Click on the round options icon. Thread options are also available below reply box in "advanced" reply mode.

What is the purpose of an update? The forum was fine the way it was. I hate change for the sake of change. If it ain't broke why try to fix it?

Updates are often necessary for usability, on both the user and the admen side of things, function, and security. I assure you, this change was not purely cosmetic.

How were we supposed to know that the star washer icon was for the thread tools? Either way , the automatic subscription setting should work.

Well us mods are relearning things too, with this upgrade. Quite a few things are different, so we're figuring it out and reporting problems to the techs as we go along.

When new versions of programs are released, many times "release notes" accompany them. They explain the changes. It would help if the same thing were done here.
