Copying audio files

Hello looking to get an audio file from a YouTube video. There are a lot of free sites but worried about getting a virus. I did my homework but didn't find much.

Hoping for word of mouth

What do you suggest

Thank You

You don't have to install anything. Go to savido.net. Enter the URL of the YouTube page. Scroll down and click the green button marked "Show More Options." Under those new options will be selections for 'video-only' and 'audio-only' in all the formats that are available.

Unfortunately..... nothing you get for free is free. Almost all the methods available carry a risk..... even the buttons in the FF browser can be risky. I use several different methods and a script editor.

Whatever site you consider using..... read the reviews first.
Is this a one time thing or do you need to make many conversions ?

I was unaware of this -- I've never seen a pop-up there -- because I usually use Linux to go there and I run uBlock Origin as a pop-up blocker. Apologies for putting out potentially damaging information.

I've been using https://www.flvto.biz/youtube-to-mp3/ for months now and no pop ups no advertisements and no viruses. And it's legal! It only rips the audio, no video.

Use your own judgment.

Google is known to reach out to these sights and threaten them if they don't stop, which most of them then do. Hence, a site that worked last week/month/year might not today or tomorrow.
