How to Save Chrome Bookmarks and Passwords on USB/Thumb-Stick?

Hello:
I attempted to Save 'Chrome Bookmarks' and 'Passwords' on USB/Thumb-Stick by following the instruction found Web-Site,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Google Chrome menu > Bookmarks > Bookmarks manager > Export bookmarks

However, there is 'I.E.favorites,' .... NOT 'Chrome Bookmarks.'
I've been keeping both 'Favorites/I.E.' and 'Chrome Bookmarks' just in case.

How to Save 'Chrome Bookmarks' on USB/Thumb stick successfully?

Thanks,

It's been long enough since I last did it I don't recall the name or the location of the file but all of that is stored in one file somewhere inside the big Chrome directory. I figured it out from a quick Google search and it ends up being pretty easy once you have the name and path to the file.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of your screen.
Click on "bookmarks".
Click on "bookmarks manager".
Click on the three does in the upper right of the new blue bar.
Click on "export bookmarks".
Select your thumb drive at the destination.
Then click "save".

The Chrome system of export/import system is a poor way to save them. Because when you IMPORT them back they do not replace your existing bookmarks. They import as a new folder called imported.
They need a true backup and restore method.

Yea, but at least once you have them on the new computer you can move the favorites to where you want them.
